Charlotte could end up becoming a Republican, if there is still a Republican party when she grows up. And she would not be the first presidential child or grandchild to switch parties-see Kermit (son of Teddy) and John (son of FDR) Roosevelt, and Susan Eisenhower granddaughter of Ike who endorsed President Obama.
